Supported by the lobby group Americans for Prosperity. This group is responsible for creating PROJECT 2025 policy that wants to recriminalize Marijuana with long prison sentences and deportation from America. Does not support recreational marijuana and supports over-regulation of the industry. Endorsed by President Donald Trump, Bill Schuette Jr, and the Michigan Republican Party.

Chedrick Greene (D) - Recommended Candidate
Former US Marine and fire captain with the City of Saginaw Fire Department. Supports the current funding of firefighter's health and equipment needs with revenue from Recreational and Medical Marijuana products implemented in 2010.
